Benedict Lowe

Benedict Lowe is a CPA and fractional CFO based in Sydney. He founded Lowe CFO Advisory to give growing businesses the finance function that listed companies take for granted: reliable numbers every month, a forecast that is actually used, and someone senior to argue with.

He trained in audit with Deloitte in London and Sydney, working across technology and financial services clients, and then moved into financial planning and analysis at Macquarie Group. He also sits in the CEO seat of a Sydney video production business, which is where the live board pack on this site was first built and is still used every day.

Benedict is a member of CPA Australia and holds a Public Practice Certificate. He also holds an LLB from the University of London and the ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business, and placed first in Australia in his ACCA examinations.

Beyond monthly reporting, he has worked on sell-side and buy-side transactions, from vendor preparation through to financial due diligence, and has audited charities and not-for-profits as well as technology and financial services businesses.
